Have been a loyal customer of Centrance products, have hifi-m8, dac mini, dac port, have at numerous times recommended their products to others, but what they have done now with their HiFI Skyn is a fiasco is beyond imagination,  I should have learned my lessons with the delays I had with dac...

Have my iDSD for few weeks, love the DSD sound with DSD64/128. I also have the Schiit Loki and Centrance Hifi M8 LX, but like the analogue smoothness of the iDSD better over all the other.   Of course iDSD does not have much power, so need to put it through an external amp to power bigger...

Keep the CCK plugged in, reboot phone while HiFiM8 plugged-in into CCK, problem solved! Had done numerous reboots of my IOS devices earlier, but looks like IOS checks for "new devices" at startup. 

Ok, I understand, my DAC Mini seems to work with both iPhone/IPAD via CCK, likely because it is only24/96 and not 24/192. In any case my understanding is DAC advertise an entire set of sample rates and not just the highest rate they support. In theory iOS should have seen 24/96 as a supported...

The HiFiM8 LX does not seem to work with Apple camera connection kit, however my DAC Mini seems to work fine. See the earlier comment from Michael confirming that it should work, is this no longer supported ?
