If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of - all the IEMs I've tried have the big nozzle, and I can't seem to get either a fit, or (usually) it's uncomfortably large. The Ety bluetooth module would be a possibility, though it's pretty large and awkward. And my ER4s have the old-style two-pin connectors...- pboser

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...
I have a pair of old- style ER4P I love, and use with an adaptor to add the resistance to make it the ER4S, iirc. I love these, love the light weight, neutral balance and especially the fit with triple flange or comply. I apparently have small ear canals and have been unable to comfortably use...- pboser

Khadas Tone Board DAC = WOW!
Two questions: what is the “next sale” you’re referring to? And does anyone have any info on a revised or next version and when it might be released? Thanks in advance. Pete- pboser

Purifier? That’s what I thought but only saw a marking for Toslink output, not input.- pboser

Koss Porta Pro Wireless Review
Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I was hoping to avoid going all the way for the PortaPro Wireless, but with the idea of putting them into the KSC clips I’m more intrigued than I was. So thanks for spending more of my money! ;-) Once again, I appreciate the time and effort in letting me know...- pboser

Koss Porta Pro Wireless Review
It looks to me like the Koss BT221i has the same drivers (or at least driver family) as the PortaPro, KSC 75, etc. Can someone confirm? I have KTXPro1 and KSC75s (and Grados, Sennheisers, Etymotic, etc. etc.) and have to admit that the convenience of Bluetooth is tempting, even if it's not the...- pboser

mod: Monoporice 8323
I searched but couldn't find this issue about the 8323 - when I wear them they creak every time I move my head! Very distracting! Any suggestions? It's not related to the pads, but it's the plastic parts and their joints, I think.- pboser

Repair Ety HF5?
Hi all, I have a pair of HF5s which broke. This is either a pain or an opportunity. Has anyone re-cases the Etys in anything? (I don't know if that would be an advantage or not.) Or should I just try crazy glue to repair? Or maybe sugru? Or should I just give up and send them to Etymotic and...- pboser

Substitute fornPowerbeats2?
My teenaged son is interested in the Powerbeats 2. He likes the fact that they are bluetooth, that they have the ear loop to hold them, and that they are Beats. ;-) Does anyone have a suggestion for a substitute? The Beats seem to be overpriced and don't have a great sonic reputation. Thanks in...- pboser

E3C vs ER4P fit
I searched and found the opposite - some people need the wider E3C fit rather than the skinnier Etys. I tried, but can't get the Ety triple flanges onto the Shures. Are my ears unusually narrow??? Thanks for any help! Pete- pboser

E3C vs ER4P fit
My ER4Ps fit great, with the triple flanges. However, I can't get my E3Cs to fit - they seem too wide (fat). Any tips for making them fit better? Thanks, Pete- pboser

Push to hear?
Somewhere, but I can't remember where (I think maybe it was one of those museum self-guided audio tours), I used an audio device that had a microphone and a button on it, so you could push to hear someone talking to you. I think this could be a useful thing when listening - a lot better than...- pboser

Earbuds for kids (or smaller ears)?
My 11 year old daughter got an iPod, and says the supplied earbuds are so big that they hurt her ears. I had her try my new Sennheiser MX500s - same story (they look to me about the same size as the ones supplied by Apple). Does anybody have any experience with this problem? Any suggestions for...- pboser

Best way to do cordless headphone listening at home?
I'd like to listen to music on headphones while wandering around the house - which way is preferable? 1. Cordless headphones? Many people seem to think the sound quality is not so great (I have Grado 60s and old Sennheiser HD424s, likely to get Senn 580/600/650 sometime), as well as the...- pboser

Suggestion for phones for wife's walking?
Sorry for the lazy request - gotta get some phones for my wife to use with a Sangean portable fm radio while she walks for exercise. Cheap, durable, easily stored are all priorities. (No, she won't go for Etymotics!) Suggestions, please? Thanks to all, Pete Boser- pboser
