    What's your biggest headphone dissapointment?

I have been slightly disappointed by every closed back that I've tried. Now I stick to open back and IEMs. I think for me to really enjoy a closed back I would probably have to jump up to zmf. And I don't need closed backs often anyways. Every Audeze, Focal, and Sennheiser closed back has...

Best CLOSED-BACK headphones under 200 with neutral sound signature?

For me it's easily the k371. When I owned it the headband adjustment was not great but it really is a very neutral and good sounding closed back Edit: supposedly the build has gone through revisions that improved it

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Can't wait to hear impressions between asgard 3 and magnius. Asgard 3 was already a great amp for 200. Having the balanced bifrost 2 paired with asgard 3 for me meant no use of balanced, but I really liked the pairing anyways.

    HIFIMAN HE-R10 Closed-Back Headphones Discussion & Impressions

I didnt say that I was upset or anything. Just that it was crazy, not sure why you are defending the headphone so much. I am also failing to see how this is Hifiman "innovating".

    HIFIMAN HE-R10 Closed-Back Headphones Discussion & Impressions

Still can't believe this product is real. Absolutely crazy that they would model it after another companies' product and call it the same exact thing.

    Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread

Anybody have issues around 5-6k? I remember the 650 being a little smoother in this region. From what I've heard, the black and silver versions differ mostly in the 2-4k range so it doesn't seem like switching versions would help too much. I've been thinking about picking up an Asgard 3...

    Audeze Mobius review / impressions

It would be a shame if they didn't add passive mode. Mobius and Sine are so close to greatness. If the new closed LCD is quiet, has DSP, and has passive mode it will certainly be the best BT headphone on the market. The Sine and Mobius already impressed me as closed backs, they just have to...

    Audeze SINE Series

This is a very difficult question. I've owned both and overall liked both, but each have their drawbacks. What Mobius does better: Much better fit: Some people just say that sine is uncomfortable. I agree, but I can definitely use it for about 2 or 3 hours without much issues. The bigger...

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV

I also was curious if anyones BT module was particularly loud? In wired mode, the white noise is so quiet and soft that it doesn't bother me. However, once I turn on BT, I start to hear whirring noises in the right earcup.

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV

Very true! I guess the battery on the mobius should last at least a couple of years. Hopefully by then Audeze, comes out with a good passive closed back.

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV

Has anybody successfully replaced the battery themselves? Just thinking about the future when Audeze no longer offers this service. Really wish they would have allowed these to have a passive mode, that way they wouldn't have a built in expiration date.

Massdrop x Focal Elex Review & Measurements

Just got an elex and I don't even want to use it that often because MD won't release these pads. Sad

    Audeze SINE Series

Hello I am new to headfi and the audeze sine. I wanted to know what the best option for balanced cables is? I've searched through this forum and I've found that you can use meze 99 balanced cables. I was wondering if there were any better options. On this site...
