I do have the P1 and they do trigger the high impedance mode; no worries.

It is very tricky, let me explain myself. I had the LG V10,V30 and now V40. Officially "all of them" need 50ohms to get in High impedance Mode. For some reason when you plug some 46/48 ohm headphones it does not accept them as "High impedance", some other time it does with lower impedance iems...

Don't know if you solved the problem but just in case: Plug the adaptor into the V30 first and then plug the headphones into the adaptor. It should activate the aux mode on the V30. To check the impedance your V30 is reading download this app...

I did not have time to read the whole thread so i don't know if this info has already been shared but for some reason the V40 enables the High Impedance Mode when it detects headphones above 30ohms while for the V30 it takes around 50ohms.
