List of USB Dongle-DAC-AMPs with in-line Microphone support (4-pole 3.5mm CTIA TRRS)
Sorry, i should've specified. For the BTR5 mic and line controls via cable will work only when connected via bluetooth indeed: when connected through usb that's not the case.- Terryss

List of USB Dongle-DAC-AMPs with in-line Microphone support (4-pole 3.5mm CTIA TRRS)
A bit of an older device, but from personal use i can confirm that via its 3.5mm socket the BTR5 (first version, non-MQA one) does support both mic via wire and in-line / media controls, i can only assume that's true also for the 2021 revision of the btr5, the Btr7 and the new btr15, but would...- Terryss

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
Thx for the response. This with a headset that works with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, if removable? Or micro-usb to 3.5mm? The headset i was trying to get the mic working with has both a 3.5mm port and a micro-usb port, but i don’t have any 3.5mm 4-pole cable at home to try this out...- Terryss

Thx for the reply. I’m not even sure myself if it must be a single 3.5mm TRRS, a 3.5mm splitter or something else... what i know for sure is that it must be 3.5mm on both ends so that connecting the Meizu Dac Pro and the SteelSeries Arctis 3...- Terryss

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
Thanks for your reply! Will you connect the Meizu dac to an iPad Pro too? Since I'm really worried about compatibility, please let me know how it goes when you get to try it. In the Sony website the headphones are said to have 40mm drivers, 105 dB/mW and 24 Ω of impedance. I would appreciate it...- Terryss

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
I need some experienced advice to know if the Meizu dac "pro" version is a good purchase for my setup. I plan on using it with a 12.9" ipad pro 2018, sometimes with a Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955F) to get better audio and the following headphones: - Sony MDR-1A, - Steelseries Artics 3 wired. I would use...- Terryss
