Arc and eArc are dodgy hdmi cec tech. If it works it’s good, it can stop working for no good reason.

Did your try other inputs apart from the current one( on the realiser) ? Do you have any other source you can try with, that can feed an Atmos signal?

I have Genelec, B&W, Dutch&Dutch ,Omega and Focal Prirs from 3DSoundShop. My pick is Omega. Also generic demos pre rendered in multichannel are available for all prirs, you can get a fair idea with that.

Agree, Apart from what you pointed out, my observations are that overall Headphone surround works well for some and doesn't for others due to imbalances in the ear. All pre rendered speakers demos are available on 3dSoundShop.

Yes the chip has DTS-X-Pro option , will have to be licenced the same as the other formats and will have a fee.

There is potential for 32 channels on the 2 chips but only for a Single user.

The delay while detecting stream & switching decoders is still present. Auro detection also has a delay as it’s encased in DTS-HD

Yep, the Auro-3D release was not officially published on the website. Auro got bought over around that time, could be legal considerations.

Auro is not mentioned, mayhaps because the notes are for generic version. My findings are from bugs I faced after the Auro Upgrade. Now fixed. Auro is still 13.1 max, but doesn't get disabled in 24ch mode like previous version, hence not forcing you to listen to Atmos in 9.1.6.

New firmware is up. Fixes a bunch of stuff like ability to have Auro option while in 24ch mode and fix for Audio dropouts in Auro modes. Center channel soft adjustment etc.

I was able to turn on Auro-3D while 24ch was selected . The Auro 3D setting would not stick on restart. And James did mention to John that Auro needs the realiser set on 16ch. Auro can play in the Atmos room but it’ll be missing critical channels as Atmos doesn’t have the equivalent.

I use hdmi from my computer. Reason I use the computer is I’m on the computer most of the time, allows me to use the realiser more compared to the dedicated ht setup, which requires advance planning for a viewing.

I Installed and verified the Auro Decoder and hardware revision , couldn’t find any Auro Upmiximg options. Please let me know how your updates go.
