This question has been answered numerous times in this thread by Audeze. Their choices were range or audio quality, and they chose quality (bandwidth).

As far as I understand you cannot do Aux + wireless (either bluetooth or dongle). For the Bluetooth pairing with your phone make sure you haven't just paired as a calls only device.

After reading reviews in this thread I've bought a bluetooth dongle to use it exactly this same way. Apparently bluetooth times out after 30mins of inactivity. I can easily go 30mins without a work call or chat, so didn't want connectivity issues there.

I have. It's likely that the EQ is "off" until you adjust the sliders, and turining on EQ has, in the past, reduced overall audio volume in some cases. I have no idea why this happens, but I have experienced it before in EQs in music playing software. Play Music app used to do this on Android...

If Penrose shipments are anything to go by they'll end up in the UK in around a week's time (once they finally leave Audeze), and then start to trickle to customers the following week. Due to holidays eyc that probably means 1st week in January.
