thanks for the reply! I had an m11 and it hissed with the fh7. It was a weird hiss in the sense that it was minute and kind of low frequency, but i could hear it with transparent recordings.m:)

I don't think so. They only hissed in balanced. Porta to was kind enough to check on his units as well and he detected the same amount hiss going balanced. Moon audio/Mini disc(can't remember) made a yt video comparing the zx300 , sr15

I listened to Darkthrone using Fiio Fh7+M11. It sounded quite "airy", but my ears felt hurt by the harshness. :)
