Finally recieved my SR1a yesterday. The soud, driven by my Vidar monoblocks, is just sublime. You really have to try it to belive it. A special thanks to @sean888 of SLT Technologies for answering my newbie questions. Really learned alot through our conversations.

My question about Nexus is: 1) besides the single end/balanced conversion thingy, does it affect the sound at all, and in what ways? 2) is the Nexus in Freya S the same Nexus as the one in Ragnarok 2? Do they use identical Nexus parts?

Ah haha. I was never good with arts and craft. This was the best i could do. That's not tape by the way (i wish i could find a tape version), it's red cellophane paper folded into three layers (one layer was inadequate), then stuck on with transparent tape.

I just like red LEDs alot more than white ones. I even went and did this to my Yggdrasil. Yes it looks horrendous during the day, but looks pretty good in the dark.

Do the LEDs come in red?

Not sure if this had been mentioned before, but a Freya with a switch to toggle the tubes on and off would be great, so that you can use it in passive or jfet mode without eating away at the tubes' lifespans.

What about two Aegirs (Vidar's little brother) in monoblock mode, vs two Vidars in monoblock mode?
