Yes I'm a new head-fier, never really follow or post on forums, but I can confirm that I recently purchased an Acro CA1000 and upon checking via the update facility it was showing new firmware available I downloaded, updated and have had no problems, so I didn't hack Astell and Kern's servers

New Firmware available today, version 1.10, fixes the date problem and other stability issues
