I've tried that setting, when it's set to USB Control I can change the volume through windows/foobar2k. When it's in Knob Control the sound stops every time I try changing the volume by turning the knob. :(

Just starting using my X Infinity 2.0 tonight... Using headphones from the single ended out, as soon as I turn the volume knob in either direction the sound disappears. I have to disconnect/reconnect the USB cable or power-off/power-on to get sound to return. Same thing happens when I turn the...

He's probably making stuff up. It would be ridiculous if my HD800 purchased new from Amazon directly during that one 2013 sale doesn't have a warranty because I got it for <$1200.

Just pointing out that many credit cards give 1% cashback or more and many also offer extended warranties.

Drop the HD800 down to $999 and price the HD800S with balanced cable at $1500.   Come on Sennheiser, shake up the headphone world and it's increasingly ludicrous pricing. :)

The HD800 MSRP is up to $1600 USD now right? So I'm guessing at the lowest the HD800S will be $2k, maybe even up to 2.3'ish. :(     EDIT: Oh, they're including the balanced cable as well. I'm guessing a $600-900 premium over the HD800, maybe they'll drop the price of the HD800 a bit. :P

The PRO and PRO+ cards have great sequential write speeds, but the random write speed is much much lower. For phones and tablets you would be better off getting a card with a better balance between sequential and random write speeds. The PRO cards would be more suitable for DSLR or high bitrate...
