Not familar with audio technica. hd595 and d2000 sound like great choices, for other cans such as k701, it is hard to get them display their full potential without spending couple hundreds dollars more on amp.- aerowing

my impression of the '15' series (hd515, hd555 and hd595) is that they are easy to drive. Meanwhile, HD650 craves for good amp, just like k701...- aerowing

For IEMs, I'm not familar with the difference between er6p and er6i, but I personally liked er6i though it is sort of flimsy. However if you can manage to get shure e3c with under $100 it will serves u well- aerowing
