Might be a tough sell when HiFiman have dropped the price of the v2 stealth magnet edition to 1100- rocko77

MQA Deep Dive - I published tracks on Tidal to test MQA
Its a shame that MQA and Tidal have made the business decision to be anything but honest to the point of being outright deceitful. The average Audiophile and newcomer to the hobby would have no idea they were being played. People have unwittingly purchased MQA enabled equipment, often at great...- rocko77

Anything less than £300 is a bargain in my opinion. There's a pair on ebay UK at the moment. I can't remember the price though.- rocko77

Couldn't you achieve the desired results by tip rolling? That makes more difference to IMR IEMs than any player in my opinion. Even to the extreme of being far more impactful on sound than using my expensive April DAC compared to an Ibasso DC01- rocko77

IMR - R1 Thread
Literally yesterday I shot him an email asking if he had any spare blue filters available for the RAH as I'd damaged mine. Promised to send one to my registered address freer if charge. Can't beat service like that, especially when the fault lies with me.- rocko77

April Music Eximus DP-1
Thanks. I've had mine since new and still have the original disc based drivers. Every attempt at an upgrade in that time has been a failure such is the quality of the Eximus. Unfortunately I lost the memory stick with the latest drivers before they closed the business so I'm back to 1. 2. Is...- rocko77

Cheers for sharing all. I only kept my cupids because of the tips that I like so much with the RAH. I can safely ebay the Obravo now. What's the difference between the colours?- rocko77

Ahh so that's what they are. I commented a while ago that I liked the Cupid tips best but I had no idea if they were proprietary to Obravo. Thanks for info.- rocko77

I've not looked on the IMR site since I got the RAH so I didn't realise he was selling them so cheap. I Just noticed the Aten on ebay last night when I was on looking at something for my Hifi.- rocko77

There's a used pair of Aten on ebay for £150. I'm tempted at that price just to have a spare set.- rocko77

NIce one. I also have comfort issues with all the IMR range although fitting has been fine. Its the sharp lip at the nozzle end creating a pressure point that either caused pain or an uncomfortable hotspot. I did try your method months ago but never managed to get the tip to stay on using the...- rocko77

Im a traditional audiophile in the valve amp and speaker sense, however I have found a decent fairly balanced sound with the rah. Red filter top and and bottom with the wide bore silicon tips that came with the Obravo Cupid. Guessing every ear wil, be different in how well tips seal etc- rocko77

IMR RAH - Discussion / Impressions Thread
Width was always (I felt) fantastic on all the previous IRMs by IEM standards, but height and in particular depth was lacking. My rahs are still somewhat rough sounding as they loosen up, but the improvements in regard to 3D stereo imaging are immediately noticeable. The mids seem a lot more...- rocko77

One thing I did immediately notice with the Rah is that soundstage depth and height is a lot better than with the previous IEMs. As we all know, depth was a particular area that needed working on so that's made me happy- rocko77

Picked my Rahs up from the post office today. As with the previous 3 IMRs I have they sound a bit muffled and rough out of the box. I will let them warm up for a while before having a good listen. I have been concentrating on my fairly high end speaker system recently however so it may take a...- rocko77

I agree that the Cupid is a better earphone in most instances than the Z. When it comes to the Aten however its a lot closer. Not sure which I prefer but I am glad to own them both.
