My MDR-EX71s broke at the silver cap. Does anyone know of stores that would fix them? If you live in NJ, that's even better but chain store are a big help too.

I have a set of MDR-E888LP's and i was considering trying to mod them and make the white to go with my iPod. Does anyone have any experience in doing this or any advice on paint or supplies? I'm sure i can do it but i just wanted to get some further info on this. Thanks.

I'm hear, listening to my earphones, sufing the net when i find silver mdr-e888lps. They're like $40 and i was considering buying them. I'm listening to my Gold mdr-e888lps, which sound nice but have some distortion which came with age and other people listening to them at high volumes and bass...

When you say, "solder" them back together, does that mean i need a special kind of solder or any will do. And does a High or Low voltage soldering tool make a difference?

I need some help. My MDR-E888LP are only playing music for the left earphone. I'm not really sure what happened, I'm guessing one of the wires broke, but does anyone know how to fix this. If I have to cut the wire or cut the rubber tubing, i'll take them to an audio shop. Thanks!
