A bit above my price limit for cables but reasonably priced nevertheless. If you had to pick one for IMR top dogs, which one would be between Cadmus and Ares?

Aggree with @PeacockObscura overall. They sound flatter than expected, bass more neutral than big. The shells are heavy for wireless use.

But yea, treble is not perfect. Even though after a few hours of continuous play I sense a shift in the presentation...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

If bass frequencies do not resonate in painful way like the case was with ACE before burn in, I prefer to let bass flow as it is with the black filters. Especially with Enigma the effect is so realistic in terms of being in a live venue of sorts and I wouldn't like to curb that. I love it as it...

Unique Melody IEM discussion thread(MEST, MEXT, Mentor, Mason, etc.)

Yes it seems that the audio part of the pods it's great but they need to fix many issues either with firmware updates or with a new version of the device. I also had to send them back because after a reset, they could not get into pairing mode.

Unique Melody IEM discussion thread(MEST, MEXT, Mentor, Mason, etc.)

They look amazing. My Go Pod had issues driving my MEXT for some reason. Sub-par bass performance. I sent it back for replacement (the Go Pods I mean) because they developed other problems also.

Thank you all for giving it a try. That track does sound sibilant with other IEMs I've tried also. But to put it this way, some ameliorate the issue and some don't. My enigma are of the second variety for the time being. Listening to some genres I enjoy I would prefer them to develop a bit of...

Also the Nyx drives them fine. Waiting for a replacement set of Go Pods to return as I plan to carry these little beasts around.

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Thanx I'll try some of that. But I suspect it is a burn in issue as another friend suggested to me. In any case, having returned recently from Roadburn Music Festival and have the feeling of live experience still thumbing through my bones, I would say that Enigma is the closest any IEM I had...

My friends with Enigmas please listen to the following and commend on Michael Jackson 's 's' sounds. https://tidal.com/track/1781887?u Just a quick review to see if it's my unit, the song or my sensitive ears.

Maybe the Enigma+ remedies the treble harshness.

Thanks for the details, I'll keep that in mind. For tips I changed to my favorite mid-viscosity wide bore Sennheiser Ie Pro tips and this definitely helps with the soundstage. As I said Enigma bass is maybe the most impactfull one I've experienced in any IMR. It is really huge and confers I...

I donno guys, maybe is a synergy thing. I am using BTR7. I changed tips also to control the sharp treble as gold upper does not help much. Could be also a burn in situation taking place here. Did you notice difference after burn in with Enigma? To be honest I enjoy their forwardness and apart...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Enigma day two: Well, I've been A/B ing Enigma and Titan for an intimate listen. I'd put it like this: Titan is smoother, more Harmannish, more spacious. While falling under IMR house sound, Bass is clean but more rounded, midrange as detailed as it is a bit recessed, Treble is richer and...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

I sympathise with all who paid the full amount but honestly I do not accept that one should be paying more than 1k for an IEM. Not because soundwise they are not worth it but because building costs as I suspect is much much much lower than that. Personally I've always waited for second hand...

Enigma black/black, Pro IMR cable Titan black/gold, UM cable I know, it's too early to draw conclusions but this is my raw first impression. Both on BTR7. Clash of the Titans:
