How does either the Atticus or Eikon fair with instrumental music like jazz, blues, classical, movie scores, big band, and such? I'm considering an Atticus I found on the used market right now.

Well maybe this amp just isn't for someone like me. Would be nice to have a "one and done" solution for both speakers and headphones. But I'll just have to keep those two separate.

Has anyone tried the Dekoni pads for the Aeon Noire? I'm curious to try them out. I have Dekoni pads for my HD600 and I like them better than the stock pads.

Why do you think it makes sense to have the sub going with headphones? there should at least be an option in the amp itself to disable it.
