How well does it work with very sensitive IEMs? Meaning how low is the output impedance and how many steps does the volume control offer? I'm asking because often there are not enough steps with too big jumps for something like a BA IEM with > 130 dB/V sensitivity.

I use a Violectric V200 and IEMs. I was shocked at how much harder the bass of this amp hits compared to say a Dragonfly Red despite IEMs being really easy to drive. Also having the option to set the gain on the amp to -12 or -18 gives more than enough room on the volume dial.

Hydra Vox isn't delta sigma. It's pure DSD, meaning that it converts all incoming signals to DSD (if they're not DSD in the first place, then it might just upsample) and afterwards convert it to analog.

Well the Red and Mimby aren't galvanically isolated, the Qutest is. So at the very least the noise should be considerably lower. And you can also try an ifi iSilencer in case there is noise.

This way you could stream from say a cd transport to a bluetooth speaker.
