good earphones for sleeping?
I've never really had a problem sleeping on my side with any kind of earphones; IEM's or buds. Its hard for me to recommend a specific type because what I'd wear while walking around would be the same ones I wear to sleep. I've never noticed certain ones to be more or less comfortable. Depends...- ViPeRx007

That's awesome valveman. It's coming along nicely. For some reason I feel like I need to find some Sun Chips now though. Kind of weird.- ViPeRx007

Earbuds: Yuin PK2, PK3, or something else?
Yea, I've actually read from a few different sources that PK2's sound worse when they are amped; makes them kind of muddy sounding. I don't have an amp so I don't really care about that. I also don't know if that's true with all amps or just the ones those people were using.- ViPeRx007

Do you yawn before putting your headphones on?
Yawning on command is easy. You just....yawn like you do when you actually yawn. What's so hard about it? Oh, and my answer to this poll question is somewhat complex. I don't yawn when I put on my headphones, but I yawn when I take them off. Usually because I lose track of time in my personal...- ViPeRx007

Earbuds: Yuin PK2, PK3, or something else?
I simply have to get a pair of earbuds besides the stock ones that came with my D2. I'm not really a fan of IEM's and anything else is not really that portable so earbuds are my favored choice. I've done some looking around and and am curious about the Yuin earbuds. It's hard to bring myself to...- ViPeRx007

Amp suggestions for HD580's
How does the C&C V2 compare to the C&C Box+? I only ask because the difference in price is only $10. EDIT: Actually I did some searching and they are fairly similar. The Box+ has a bit more power and a few different features, but it's probably not enough to make that big a difference...- ViPeRx007

Amp suggestions for HD580's
Hey everybody. I've been looking into possibly getting a portable amp for my headphones, but I'm not looking to spend a ton of cash; something less than $100, MAYBE a bit more if the difference is really that big. I have a Cowon D2 player, and my not-so-portable Sennheiser HD580's. I've been...- ViPeRx007

New portable player means new earphones
OK, I tried a pair of in-ear phones and those just won't work for me. They make me feel way too isolated when I need to be able to hear what's going on around me. Now that I've actually been using the normal earphones for a while now, they don't seem as uncomfortable as they used to. Maybe they...- ViPeRx007

New portable player means new earphones
EDIT: Read this post and then my last post to get my updated question. Well, I'm back again. Just a couple months ago I was doing this very same thing, only it was for a pair of full size headphones (I ended up with the HD580 which is great btw). Now I'm looking for something to go with my...- ViPeRx007

Buying a new MP3 Player/PMP
I realize this place is all about audio, so the video probably doesn't matter to alot of people. But anyway, the last MP3 player I bought was a Creative Zen Nano and I think it's time to jump into the big show and get something a little more current and feature packed, like a PMP. Most...- ViPeRx007

Cost-effective amp for HD580?
I started a thread here a day or two ago about purchasing some headphones. I ended up ordering the Sennheiser HD580's. I'm curious about an amp now. I'll basically just be using these with my PC (plugged into an X-Fi Elite Pro soundcard) and when mixing/recording music with my Roland Fantom X...- ViPeRx007

First time buying GOOD headphones.
Thanks for the help, I may have to go for the HD580's after all of the positive feedback I've gotten here + seen other places while searching for info. The only thing I'm still worried about is the amp issue. Some say they almost have to be amped, while others say they don't. I just know I...- ViPeRx007

First time buying GOOD headphones.
Alright, I'm one of those people who've never owned a pair of headphones that were more than $25. I've been having some problems with the cord of the ones I'm using now, so I started looking into something new. My budget is still fairly low (somewhere around $100) so I'm not getting too crazy...- ViPeRx007
