Hardware wise, I think M11 is better than R6 pro. I can see a lot of folks will hold-off the R6 pro purchase and wait for the M11.

To my knowledge you will still have to manually flash the original R6 to Android 8.1, which is as tedious as flashing the Ibasso DAP. I could be wrong though. Maybe Hiby has made it to OTA already. IMO the original R6 is good enough. Certainly r6 pro is a better dap than r6 in quite a few...

None of the ones u mentioned requires Google play service. I have the Chinese version and I stream Tidal every day. In fact, not even Google play music requires Google service. All u need is an account with subscription.

No other difference as far as I know. U can install any streaming app u like using apk file. Play store is kinda unnecessary in my mind.

I have the Chinese version too but haven't had any issue updating. Is is possible that u skipped one or more versions before the most recent update? Sometimes that can cause failure in OTA update. I suggest to PM Hiby Facebook page. They've been very responsive to my inquiries.

Yes it is. Nowadays ur antivirus software, ur browser (chrome or firedox do it for sure), and Google itself would have scanned the link before u open it. If it had potential risk, they will bring u to a warning page. Or u can just Google "old version Tidal APK", u got plenty of other options...

Agreed. SPL is more important here. My JVC FD01 is 16 ohm with 103 db/mw sensitivity. It has a dead black background. FH5 is pretty sensitive at 112 db/mw. But 16 ohm is not a super low impedance.

I got the Chinese version back in January. Didn't have the patience to wait, and it's way cheaper than the international version :joy:. Any other fellow users of Chinese version have this electromagnetic interference issue?

Does this interferance only apply to sensitive IEMs? I havn't experienced any interference at aIt's dead silent even if I stack the R6 Pro on top of my phone or router. Maybe it'a because I only use less sensitive DD earbuds or big Cans.

I noticed the track count change too. But for me, it changed because it delete tracks from the end of the list while the selected track that I wanted to delete stayed untouched. This is super annoying. And weird enough, the first 10 tracks or so were deleted just fine, then the glitch happened...
