My main interest in balanced is because of the proximity to ac power cables. Somewhat related, will the Jotunheim output balanced with a single ended input ?

Speed is a factor of the size of the pulleys, not spacing. Also, I’m surprised they actually used an arrow shaft for the tone arm. Maybe I can get set up as a supplier. I throw away hundreds of ‘cut offs’ that could be used as tone arms.

Why is being profitable such a bad thing ? It seems like end users want everyone else to fail for the sake of getting the best price.

As much as I want to love it, the mani sounds very 2 dimensional compared to my intergrated amp. I moved cables around with some success but it still sounded flat. I will give it a couple more days of listening before I make a final decision.

Regarding grounds, I have a Rega turn table with no separate ground lead. The ground is in one of the phono cables. I have thought about doing the incognito rewire to fix that.

I was hoping for a mani 2 as well but had to jump on the b stock sale. I’m playing with them now. I’m getting a ton of buzz through the sys running it backwards. I just took it out of the equation. I was hoping for a push button a/b test but I’m moving cables around instead.
