Do you have a source where they state that it is the exact same ba driver. I know they both use a magnesium diaphragm but have never read anything about the drivers being exactly the same.

I dont find the a8000 being extremely sharp and fatiguing at all. Less than something like an ie900. k3003 sound sharp and piercing to me.

only have a bump on the left cable and left iem. Is for blind people i guess. Since I checked for the dots on the iem and cable I also found that my left iem has some excessive glue around the black ring of the mmcx connector. Dont understand how this passes the quality control checks...

I have no sibilance at all with a8000, maybe its because of a different fit like you mentioned. Still not quite sure which of the 2 I Iike more. The ie900 is definitely the more comfortable one.
