DIY Earbuds
Hmm, alright then. Vido, you mean the RY4S? I really appreciate your effort to try and help me, but I am afraid I will disappoint you, as I don't have the time to research drivers, shells, tunings, and compare them at the moment. If there is a particular configuration you would suggest, I am...- ThanosD

DIY Earbuds
Hey everyone, I am looking for a recommendation for a budget earbud for 30$ max. I prefer there to be an mmcx connector and metal housing, although none of them is obligatory. I currently own a pair of S****r PT15, and I am looking for something with more bass, and more detailed highs...- ThanosD

Earbuds Round-Up
Alright, thanks a lot, I will post my question there too! Although, if I can get the already assembled earbuds for like, 10$, why should I bother assembling them? Also, do you have any particular recommendations for a DIY set?- ThanosD

Earbuds Round-Up
Hmm, they seem to meet a lot of my criteria, and yeah, at that price there is no risk. Reading a bit around here, I saw a few other earbuds, like TMusic Beryllium, FENGRU DIY EMX500, that might also meet my criteria, and I was wandering if you, or anybody else would recommend any of those...- ThanosD

Earbuds Round-Up
Hi, I am looking for a recommendation. Right now, I own a pair of S****r PT15, but I feel I want more bass, and also a bit more detailed treble. I want to spend around 30$. E detachable cable (mmcx) is a plus, and I don't have a problem assembling a set, or modding a set regarding the detachable...- ThanosD

Blon in ear monitors impressions thread
Great, and I was looking on this cable too. Missed that listing. The mixed color cable looks great. But I might go with a normal 2pin cable, cause it's more universal. On the other hand, I don't think I'll be using the cable on anything else. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help. I have to...- ThanosD

Has anyone tried any of the NiceHCK cables? Cause they don't mention if the termination is .75 or .78 mm. I am worrying that it might be a bit loose- ThanosD

Damn, that's gorgeous. From where did you get the cable? 2.1m*8 is 17 meters of cable, the price seems very low, not even considering the plugs.- ThanosD

Home-Made IEMs
I finally found some time, and assembled a pair of RAF-32873, with green dampers, using a pair of Etymotics style shell, which was so generously sent to me by @Ivan TT . The technique of making a loop with the soldered wires and a bit of heat shrink worked like a charm I have to say, they...- ThanosD

Home-Made IEMs
Yeah, I thought so too, about it being not medically certified. They offer a resin for dental use though, which should be safe. And it's 500ml for 75€, or 100ml for 15€, which is cheaper, but with skin and dental green being the only colors available. Covering the non-medically certified resin...- ThanosD

Home-Made IEMs
Guys, has anybody tried the resins used with the uv resin 3d printers, to construct a shell with the usual investment method? Like this anycubic one? 27€ for 0.5lt seems very cheap, but would it work?- ThanosD

I thought about ordering something like this too as an alternative to the paracord, which I did. But I guess it will be that one that will be used, and not the paracord. I'll try to fit the paracord anyway. Thanks for the info!- ThanosD

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Guys, I have some Klotz star quad cable, and I want to make an aux cable. The outer diameter of the cable is 5.5mm. Will paracord 550, which is 4mm in diameter stretch enough to be used as sleeving? Or is it not recommended?- ThanosD

The Zishan dsd's corner
This is the one I went with. It was recommended to me (unfortunately I don't remember by who), and it made the sound a bit more dynamic, and improve bass response. Back then, there were a couple more recommended to me as alternatives to try, but there is no way I am finding that conversation.- ThanosD

The Zishan dsd's corner
Damn, I am too slow. Ivan basically covered everything. I can speak for the output caps, since I changed them, and had a great effect on the sound. Regarding where to buy stuff, this is a quote from arrow's shipping restrictions: "We do not ship orders to North Korea, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, Libya...- ThanosD
