Was wondering if the LG v20 essentially becomes a pre-amp also when you run from the headphone out to system? A pre-amp and DAC.

I've heard that Tidal updated their app to overcome the limitations with the Android systems and DAC access. Is it still worth using UAPP with an LG v20 playing Tidal with the internal DAC? Or, is the Tidal app fine on it's own? Thanks.

Wow. I've been listening to the RY4s earbuds (braided cable) with a vintage Marantz 2230 and am completely blown away with these little buds. Just hard to believe that sound is this cheap.

I have more expensive headphones hanging around and I'm listening to these the majority of time lately. I think they are great irregardless of price.

I'm going to try to round up a metal headband somewhere and attach the buds at the end. I am thinking the additional pressure will increase the bass response.
