Hello, I'm trying to find information about the difference between the v20 B&O version and non B&O version. Is there an audible difference? Or, is it branding. Thanks!- athiker94

LG V20 Sound Quality
Was wondering if the LG v20 essentially becomes a pre-amp also when you run from the headphone out to system? A pre-amp and DAC.- athiker94

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
I've heard that Tidal updated their app to overcome the limitations with the Android systems and DAC access. Is it still worth using UAPP with an LG v20 playing Tidal with the internal DAC? Or, is the Tidal app fine on it's own? Thanks.- athiker94

Earbuds Round-Up
May be asking for too much with this question. But, I'm seeking out an earbud with a planar sound. I use HifiMan He400i phones at home and would love to find something for work with that clear sound. Something with great soundstage , good mids, tight bass and an open full size can sound. I am...- athiker94

Has anyone tried cutting a small center hole (quarter-dime mod) on the Yaxi pads with these phones?- athiker94

Nobsound NS-08E also know as Nobsound 6J9 hybrid tube amp
Do the GE 5654 tubes need burn in? I just put them in over the last few days and they SEEM a dot harsh. I like the original tubes a dot more in their musicality at this point. But, the sound is way more refined and balanced with the new tubes. Just a bit harsh at times. EDIT: the tubes sound...- athiker94

LG V20 Sound Quality
Wanted to ask your input about how to setup the LG v20 to loudspeakers. I am currently running a Marantz 2230 and was considering running it out to the RCA connectors in the back. But, am open to ideas, other DAC'S, amps.... ect. I don't wan't to spend alot of money (less than 150) dollars to...- athiker94

Earbuds Round-Up
Just wanted to say, "Thank you" for all the recommendations on the Snow Lotus 1+ CE. Man, loving these. Introduction to TY Hi-Z Earbud Family: Mega Review
I've been listening to the Monk + earbuds for awhile and love them. Well, I got in a pair of the 32ohm TY earbuds and they sound horrible? Tinny, artificial and no soundstage. I'm hoping it's lack of burn in or maybe I got a fake pair. But, man these things are not good at all. I"m sure that...- athiker94

[2021 Update] Venture Electronics (VE) Monk V2, Monk Plus & Monk Go: a $5 earbud that taking the world by storm!!!
:). I completely understand. Personally, I don't think you are going to do any better at this price range. You will get varying opinions on this and it may boil down to different sound signatures that different buds afford at this price point. But, I'm blown away with what 5 dollars will get...- athiker94

I'm going to try to round up a metal headband somewhere and attach the buds at the end. I am thinking the additional pressure will increase the bass response.- athiker94
