Id be interested in hearing about methods of getting an i2s signal directly from the computer, as I see I can get an ok price on a Northstar m192 used, which has an actual i2s input.

Keep it going, I learn so much from discussions like these. On another note, I currently leaning towards the AQVOX DAC, it used ASIO and has the s/pidif in as well. Thanks for all the advice.

Hows it goin? I havent posted much but I am a long time reader. Just curious, are you listening through your ipod and whatnot completely unamped? only asking because I noticed the the UE11s are listed as having a 180ohm impedence on the UE website. If this is the case I could understand why...
