I have the 28.38 with the LCD-2c’s. Never been a believer in “breaking in” new gear but this combo sounds better & better the longer I use it (6 months now)! No mods, just straight up stock. Phenomenal separation.

So, continuing with the exploring music theme, Spotify Premium has a playlist called “Songs to Test Headphones With” that has some really good tunes in it. Putting my LCD2c’s thru their paces.

I have the 28.38 and am very happy with the supplied usb cable.

How would one connect a Loki to an Audio-Gd NFB-28.38?

Within the last two weeks I received an LCD-2c, Beyerdynamic dt-1990 pro’s and an Audio-Gd NFB-28.38 While I’m sure things are changing the more I listen, as everything is brand new, I can say that the Audio-Gd powers both cans very well.

Any feedback using Beyerdynamic dt-1990 pro’s with the nfb-28.38? Amazon will be delivering the cans to my doorstep tomorrow.

Great explanation! Thank you so much for the clarification! It’s possible the amp is starting to break in (another topic entirely) as well, as I’ve been running a constant signal through it as time permits. But it certainly does sound amazing! I’ve learned so much from the knowledgeable people...

Update on the new gear - this is a unique amp (as far as I know) that has four gains; high, low, fast & slow. From what I can tell given the lack of info (we all know Kingwa needs an English technical writer), my hd650’s respond noticeably better on “fast” mode. Got less than a week of use thus...

Excellent analysis. I just received my 28.38 yesterday and am currently pairing it with hd650’s. Looking to upgrade to Beyerdynamic dt 1990 pro’s.
