I cannot agree more on basically every word here. I have just starting using mine, will need some time to "settle", but so far I can say it reminds me a lot of stuff I had in the past that I really liked (from QLS and Aune mainly), without the bulk and limitation that kind of rig involved :D...

Hi, got mine and started to using it, mostly from the smartphone (UAPP) and with earbuds. Pretty impressed by the results, the only "gripe" I have so far is with UAPP, I have both hardware volume and internal volume, meaning that it's not 100% bit perfect and that the phone manipulates somehow...

I had the RU6 and got the same conclusion, it lacked somehow body and "juice". A very brilliant implementation but I think best sinergy is with very sensible IEMs (which are not my cup of tea).

agree even if with X10T II I must say the synergy sounds closer to the R2K Red than anything else (I guess). Never thought how much source could change the deal, above all for such a small portable rig (believe me, with coaxial out in my old Mojo, you could really feel the difference).

My two cents, having owned the R2000 from hifiman, which is the closest thing I could compare it to, is that it is a very nice piece of equipment, at least considering the price/performance ratio. Perhaps a bit less PRAT than the hifiman (red, used as a dongle), and way less driving power, but...
