Personally I'd give higher weight to a genuine independent reviewer. Not to say Abyss is not accurate with their review it's just that they have a possible conflict of interest

Would have thought given the existing number of dcs users the amp would be an easy add on for those users looking to get into headphones . So why not make it the strongest element of the three?

Also an owner of the Diana phi .If the Diana TC turns out to be a huge step up and if abyss offered a decent trade-in I'd likely do it

Just ordered the KR 2A3 HP from tube amp doctor at a decent discount due to the VAT not being charged as I live in HK. (They did incorrectly send the non HP version but that has been sorted and the HP are on the way )

My bad.. yep they are the elite. Not sure whether they’re called the meze empyrean elite or just meze elite. the case for them has them as the former while everywhere else seems to have them as the latter

Purchased the Argento cable for my meze empyrean and have to say very happy. Great quality build and attention to detail( the first thing I personally look for) .Looks fantastic . Little if any cable memory. Only a few hours listening thus far but zero complaints.

Just to be clear here . If some noise can be heard then wouldn't this affect the overall sound quality of the recording your listening to ? Or is the hum only audible in between tracks ? I'm guessing in pre-amp mode this hum goes away ?

Mine failed on the first attempt..sadly it was a few weeks from buying to actually listening for the first time (I was away)so the shop did not replace ..it's in for repair and has been 6 weeks already and still waiting
