That's extremely helpful, thank you. The tone and timbre are critical. As you say, finding a universal version may not be so easy a task.- crtexcnndrm99

Ah that'd be a dealbreaker then. Need to be able to almost physically feel those raspy male vocals. Thanks for the heads up- crtexcnndrm99

Great read. Always find the comparisons useful. I had been thinking of getting the Oriolus MK2 next - do you think the detail is a sufficient trade-off for the luscious mids of the Oriolus? Similarly for soundstage - is one markedly better (as I understand, they're both leaning towards...- crtexcnndrm99

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
Slightly confused. Interested in testing out the Mojo with the Onkyo DP-S1 DAP I already have... not sure which input/outputs would work and hence what cables I need. 3.5mm / mini-USB (Onkyo) -> mini-USB / optical (Mojo)? As far as the different connectors go, I'm very much a novice :fearful:- crtexcnndrm99

A Appreciate it. I'll have to get to it then. After all, it has to last until the Mojo sequel is released.. ;)- crtexcnndrm99

If I'm working with a Mojo that I picked up used and could likely be ~2 years old, would it be a good idea to open 'er up and check for battery bulge (naturally, the aim being to avoid any damage to components buy unchecked battery growth..)?- crtexcnndrm99

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
Is this generally the case with non-ALO cable for CA IEMs? Had the same experience with alt cables on the Lyra... when it's a commuter IEM the looseness of non-ALO cables makes me nervous. Alternatively, are there any brands that match the crazy sturdiness of ALO cables for these?- crtexcnndrm99

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
Couldn't find a better suited thread for discussing the Lyra (I), so I'll just ask here: Are there any EQ profiles for the Lyra? Something that brings vocals forward slightly? Little/no practice EQ'ing myself, so hoping to lean on a learned ear here.- crtexcnndrm99

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Have there been efforts to improve the timbre of the 10's? EQ magic in the mids perhaps? I realise it's unrealistic to expect the fullness of a dynamic driver, but there's only so long soundstage and pure bass impact can remain novel before I find myself reverting to the CA Lyra. A...- crtexcnndrm99

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
A bit lost with options for cables/connectors here. Is a usb mini to 3.5mm a thing? Ideally, I'd get one nice cable to use for: DP-S1 -> Mojo -> IEMs, Macbook -> Mojo -> IEMs, and (via dongle) iPhone -> Mojo -> IEMs Apparently line-out on the Onkyo dap is only through the usb mini, it's...- crtexcnndrm99

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Just picked up the 10's on the classifieds, outstanding first impression w/ cipher. Keen to see what magic we can do to with EQ when the Mojo arrives as well.. Only issue though: the 2 pin connectors are quite loose - the left in particular has fallen out while listening on several occasions...- crtexcnndrm99
