DIY Cable Gallery!!
Well, I forgot to post my DIY ventures here. But here's my DIY Hakugei cable for my Etymotic ER2XR. I used roughly 5.5 metres of Hakugei wire, and did a 4-braid cable for my ER2XR. The wire is Hakugei 5N OCC "Coffee", pure copper wire. 0.83mm OD, with 60 strands. However, the envelope that...- nitrokojote

Tin Hifi P1 impressions
Ah crap I messed up what I meant. I meant mW, sorry. Milliwatts. The Sonata HD can output 60 mW per channel with a 32 Ohm load. It's likely around 70-75 ish with the 20 Ohm impedance of the P1. It could be a power issue, when it comes to the bass response. It could also be my measurement rig...- nitrokojote

Tin Hifi P1 impressions
These IEMs do require a decent bit of power. I'm lucky that the 60mA (per channel) was enough to power these for the most part. I had done a measurement of these as well with ARTA. I used pink noise, 32K FFT, and let it sit for 30 seconds at around 75dB SPL. I'm not using a standard GRAS, or a...- nitrokojote

Tin Hifi P1 impressions
Hey there! I'm using the Hidizs Sonata HD to power these. I'm not sure how I can power them with this, but somehow I end up getting the full FR with them. I have to use half volume, though. You could be correct on the shortcomings. Unfortunately the most powerful device I have at the moment is...- nitrokojote

Tin Hifi P1 impressions
Hey there! It's my first actual post here. I've been rather quiet, sorry about that, but I hope I can make up for it with some impressions! So, the earphones that @antdroid has lent to me has arrived. BGVP DM6 and TIN Audio P1. I’ll be putting the BGVP impressions up in a bit in a different...- nitrokojote

Can't find how to edit or create my signature. Help.
Hey there, I joined this forum a while back but I've mostly lurked, now I've been wanting to post more, but I can't seem to find the options for editing my signature. I can only edit the "about author" page. There any reason why this doesn't work for me? Thanks!- nitrokojote

New Member Introductions thread
Been lurking for months now. I've been wanting to become part of the community but I am quite shy. I've been into earbuds and IEMs for a few years now, and I've accumulated a small little collection of cheap ones. So uh, hey there ^^"- nitrokojote
