Make sure to listen to Close to the Edge if you haven't already. Tales is a fantastic album but it's a hard one to get into. CttE and Relayer are some of their best albums (CttE is my favorite album of all time) and easier to get into. Tales may just be tied with Close to the Edge for me, though.

Thanks everyone for the Jethro Tull recommendations yesterday. Currently back on the HD 800 into the GSX-Mini/Bifrost 2 and listening to some Khan. If you've never heard of this album you need to listen to it. One of my all time favorites.

Great setup but never got into Tull other than Thick as a Brick and A Passion Play, which I love. Which album should I listen to next?

HD 600 was my first love as an audiophile all those years ago and is still on of my favorite headphones. I'll always have at least 1 in my collection.

At this very second, listening to some Ozric Tentacles with my LCD-X 2021 through the GSX-Mini and Bifrost 2. It's a good sound but I still don't love the comfort of the LCD-X. The seal creates a lot of pressure for me.

The gap in quality between headphones that are roughly $100 and $200 is quite large. Doesn't mean that anything under $100 is worthless, but IME the HD6XX is going to be worth the extra money over pretty much any headphone in the sub $100 range. Can't speak for cheap IEMs since I haven't heard many.

Really debating getting this, but also considering the NFB 29.38. Going to mostly use SE but might buy a balanced cable for my HD800S (I bought used so it didn't come with one). Also planning on using IEM (hopefully the Andromeda soon) with it. Anyone have any insight?
