Review by 'gryphon1911' on item 'Jabra Elite 65t'
I'm going to come at this review from a former Bose Sounds Free owner. I've had the Bose Soundsport Free ear buds for over 2 years. While not what I would consider an "audiophile" headphone, they were energetic and fun. They did have some shortcomings. The left ear bud would often drop...- gryphon1911

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
I just picked up a pair of RHA MA750 Wireless for USD $117, which is roughly 104 Euros. They were tinny and shallow sounding with the default and spin tips, but once I put in the Comply tips - golden!! Not as bright as my Dunu DN-2000J with Comply tips, but pretty close. I would say that the...- gryphon1911

Reply to review by 'gryphon1911' on item 'Aiwa ARC-1 Bluetooth Headphone'
@JoeBorn Sorry it took so long to respond...but I find it easier to use button presses for skipping. 2 clicks for forward, 3 for back if using the existing key button setup. However, having a dedicated FF/BW series of buttons would be great too. Maybe in a V2 version or perhaps a higher end ARC?- gryphon1911

Review by 'gryphon1911' on item 'Aiwa ARC-1 Bluetooth Headphone'
Overview I was fortunate enough to be asked to beta test these headphones. I’m no stranger to testing new items. My full time job is working in computer systems development, where we build new systems or maintain existing systems. I live in the world of the system development life cycle and...- gryphon1911

Seeking beta testers for the Aiwa Arc-1 Bluetooth Headphones
My production version of the ARC-1 arrived today. The only thing cosmetically that I noticed different is the Bluetooth button has a white symbol next to it, where the beta headphones did not. I've got all my notes from the beta test. I'm going to re-test everything again with these new ones...- gryphon1911

Seeking beta testers for the Aiwa Arc-1 Bluetooth Headphones
When you start of talking about a company being "inherently deceptive"....well, that just doesn't sit well, when they have been anything but. Most people on this site already knew the history of the Aiwa brand. If people don't do their due diligence then that is on them. There are many...- gryphon1911

99% of it. But, hey....you are entitled to your opinion. your post comes off as someone with an axe to grind for really no reason. Companies, names, brands get sold and re-built all the time. I just like to give people the benefit of the doubt before panning them.- gryphon1911

I do not believe that to be true. Give them a chance to prove what they can do before passing judgement. Since they have been nothing but honest, forthcoming and go out of their way to get input from the consumer, I think we all owe them at least that.- gryphon1911

The Beyerdynamic DT880 Discussion thread
I use the e10k as a DAC only and prefer time amps. I run the FiiO into a Little Dot MkII. Absolutely love the sound on this combo. It runs my DT880 and HD6XX with plenty of power.- gryphon1911

so I got a Magni 3...
It really depends on the music you like. I listen to just about everything, except modern rap and country. I have found in my short journey that there is no one headphone. For rock, metal I look Grado SR225e, got it used here in the forum. For generally everything else, I've fallen for the...- gryphon1911

What's going on with the DT880s?
I just recently bought a pair of 250 Ohm DT880 Chrome from a member here. They are my second set of Beyers, the first being the 80 Ohm DT770. My wife loves them for the low frequency response - she listens to EDM mostly. I liked the DT770 slightly more for "fun listening" than the Audio...- gryphon1911

That is super awesome to hear. Curious to get your impression on the cans once you get them. I've no place local that carries the Astell and Kern, so have to live vicariously through others. lol- gryphon1911

Best bluetooth earbuds?
I would recommend getting a great sounding pair of wired earbuds you like, then get the Radsone EarStudio ES100. Love that combo on my Pixel 2 XL. Works great with my 1More Quad Drivers, Dunu DN-2000J and TFZ Exclusive 5.- gryphon1911

Let's talk about pens...
Most of them have been very good. I'm not a fan of the smaller nib sizes, so I go over to Goulet Pens online store and buy their replacement number 6 nibs in medium, broad and 1.1stub.- gryphon1911

Let's talk about pens...
I've been collecting fountain pens for a few years now. Have over 50 in my collection from $1 Chinese imports to a few hundred dollar custom builds. My favorites are Bexley Poseidon. Here are 2 examples. The black and yellow is a custom request I had made for me. Both have medium nibs.- gryphon1911

My Journey So Far - Short As It Is
Almost forgot....I started learning sound engineering. I'm going to be working the board and mixing at my church on a Behringer X32.
