New Yamaha Headphones
I'd say it fairly represents the YH-L700A's sound, but I don't know what you mean by "muddled with other details". YH-L700A's sound is clear and infused with richness and warmth.. somewhat bloated, but in a good way.- MFHRaptor

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
On the latest Head-fi YouTube video of Audeze LCD-5 reveal, I commented that I was happy they haven't forgotten about Mobius, and expressed my hope of a future upgrade. @Audeze was kind to cryptically respond with: "We are not done for the year"! Last year just ended without the expected...- MFHRaptor

New Yamaha Headphones
I would like to add that out of all the ANC Bluetooth headphones I've tried, this headphone in wired mode has the closest sound to its Bluetooth mode.. which is a good thing. I can't comment on mic quality as I haven't ever used it for calls. If you are very specific in regards to ANC quality in...- MFHRaptor

New Yamaha Headphones
Thankfully that's not the case with the YH-L700A. I found some music listening time late last night, and the two notes of hard-hitting bass in Glass Animal's 'Black Mambo' sounded pleasant despite giving a good tactile feel of that drum action. Not punishing at all, just some of that sweet...- MFHRaptor

New Yamaha Headphones
I couldn't keep myself from getting the YH-L700a as I couldn't stop thinking about their sound since I first tried them at the store. To my luck, I found someone who received them as a gift but had no need for them. I bought them secondhand for approx. $272. Here are my thoughts: Musicality...- MFHRaptor

New Yamaha Headphones
I've had the opportunity to try YH-L700A a couple of days ago, and was impressed by its musicality, especially the deep bass. I quite liked the 3D Sound Field, and with that outstanding rumbling bass in "cinema" preset it was quite the experience! This is the main feature of my interest, as I'm...- MFHRaptor

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
They are just cheaply built! @Audeze can't bother to take a page from widely popular Bose or Sony wireless headphones that are ubiquitous in the market space.. and look how strongly built those examples are. Mobius is made with hollowed, thin, clunky plastic parts. Perhaps built with very low...- MFHRaptor

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
I have been saying the same whenever the Mobius comes into conversation. I would jump on a more expensive Mobius if it's a metal build. As for the moment, I'm still looking for a 3D metal fabrication facility that would take my disassembled Mobius frame (esp. the yokes) and make an exact replica...- MFHRaptor

AUDEZE X CAPCOM - Resident Evil Village
When will @Audeze listen and make metallic-frame Mobius? A lot of complaints about broken yokes spoil an otherwise stellar product. I really hope they reinforce the build.- MFHRaptor

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
By Nobles, do you mean the Falcon Pro? If so, and regardless of connection issues, I would like to ask how does the B&W PI7 compare to the Falcon Pro in sound quality, and soundstage? The Galaxy Buds Pro are the only Samsung earbuds I have, but if you're contesting musicality and pure sound...- MFHRaptor

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I just got the Galaxy Buds Pro, and it requires One UI 3.1-equipped Galaxy smartphone/tablet for that feature. 3D sound implementation reminded me of my Audeze Mobius. There's an extra level of immersion when watching multi-channel content.. and there's head-tracking as well, which might not be...- MFHRaptor

In Stock Now: Noble Audio FALCON PRO
@miserybeforethemusic Thanks for the insight. To me, the only thing missing on the Falcon Pros that make them unappealing to me despite craving their sound is ear ergonomics/fit/securing. In any TWS earbuds, convenience comes first (otherwise why go the totally-wireless route?), and fin design...- MFHRaptor

Cayin C9: Dual Nutube, Fully Balanced Class A/AB Portable HeadAmp
So.. Right now, I'm between 2 choices; either go with: 1) Lotoo PAW 6000 + Cayin C9 or 2) Lotoo PAW Gold Touch alone and be done with it! My only concern is sound quality alone. You can tell I like Lotoo stuff and would like to have their "house sound". Can someone help?- MFHRaptor

Cayin C9: Dual Nutube, Fully Balanced Class A/AB Portable HeadAmp
Seeing as how bulky the Caying C9 is, for the sake of portability, would a dongle DAC like Lotoo PAW S1 be a good match to feed such a high-end portable AMP? or will that greatly undermine the Caying C9 capabilities?- MFHRaptor

Dekoni Fidelio X2 Choice Pads!
I wish I knew or had the means to make my own headphone pads, then I would've made a very unique velour inside the cup, with leather for the rest.. or I would've preserved the leather only for the area touching the skin, leaving velour for the inner and outer rings.. whatever gives the most...- MFHRaptor
