Hey Jason, there appears to be a typo in Magnius power consumption specs. As in it should be higher than what is listed, since balanced output maximum power into 16 ohms is 6.0W RMS per channel. Once again kudos to you and the entire schiit team for Magnius.- neoaudiophyte

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Firstly, let me start by saying Happy Birthday Schiit! Congratulations for making it to a decade in business. Secondly, let me reciprocate by saying, thank you Schiit for making high-end audio products affordable and fun. All the Schiit I have purchased thus far has been fantastic. Lastly, I...- neoaudiophyte

I am looking forward to these products. The Gadget as described in the John Darko video, maybe the most radical audio product ever. An expansion of the Loki line would be great (I hope it has two pairs of SE outputs like Saga S/Plus - one pair for headphones and the other for speakers). I loved...- neoaudiophyte

Schiit Asgard 3 - Impressions Thread
My vote would be for the second option, a multi-input DAC the same size as Asgard 3. That would make a very good looking stacked set. The suggested price is also very appealing.- neoaudiophyte

Hey Jason, kudos to you, Mike and the entire Schiit team for Asgard 3, Bifrost 2 and all the other Schiit. The specs for Bifrost 2 don't list what kind of analog stage it has. Could you add that? Good to know! So that's exactly like Gumby and Yggy.- neoaudiophyte

I have two sets of suggestions, but first some definitions. Cull - verb 1. to remove or reduce 2. to select from a large quantity or group Null - adjective having or associated with the value zero My first set of suggestions are: for Multibit D/A converter, I...- neoaudiophyte

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I'm surprised too. I too assumed that a good number of people who bought Modi Multibit and DAC's from other companies, bought Eitr as well. I am hoping Modi/Modi Multibit and the AK4490/Multibit DAC modules get USB Electromagnetic and electrostatic isolation, thus the loss of Eitr would more...- neoaudiophyte

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I figured because of the cost, the take rate for the multibit DAC was lower than for the 4490 DAC, but I didn't think it was that low to warrant not offering a multibit version. I suppose that would explain Mike's desire to make cheaper DAC's and maybe multibit will be cheaper as well. If you do...- neoaudiophyte

Hey, the Jaxx Manufacturing video showed where some of your circuit boards are made, how about a video where your chassis/metal frames are made? I realize that some may not find it as interesting as the other videos but, Schiit Audio is one of a few audio companies who use aluminum on most of...- neoaudiophyte

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Yes, I think the proposed Asgard 3 makes sense. Here are three reasons why I think so. Firstly, Asgard 3 as you have proposed would be an enhancement of Asgard 2. Asgard 2 has a 1W RMS per channel Class A output, while the proposed Asgard 3 would be like Class A for 1/2W or so, and beyond that...- neoaudiophyte

No, I don't think naming your technologies is stupid. I think it is a testament to all the work you put in to develop your products. Perhaps you could add a glossary section on your website to briefly and simply explain these technologies.- neoaudiophyte
