In Amarok (music manager), go to "settings" and "configure music manager". Then choose "engine" and on that tab, you see "output plugin", the setting is on autodetect by default if I remember right. Change it to "alsa". After that, "ALSA Device Configuration"-box shows up. There you find "mono"...- uppis

One eee user here too, works just fine, thou no chance of running photoshop, but thats what bigger machines are for.. Divx plays fine from SD-cards, snes works, I've also tried openarena, which worked great. It sounds pretty good with Pico too. Anyway, I use mine mainly for email, web and skype...- uppis

Thank you! That seem logical to me, but the noise on medium zoom at ISO 200 with indoors pictures made me wonder.. And milkpowder, D50/D70(s) have AF motor, and they are pretty cheap. D50 was just perfect camera, at least for me, to start photography as a hobby.- uppis

Any D300 users..? I got mine yesterday, great camera, at least compared to D50. Feels wonderful in my hands. I'm just having a little problem with custom setting f1, multi-selector in playback mode. Which one is 100% magnification, low or medium?- uppis

Best Amp for HD-580 with New 160GB Ipod
I have Pico with 160gb Classic and HD580, and it doesn't sound bad at all, although the Pico is maybe not the most powerful amp. But soundstage is pretty nice, I like it. What I remember, Minibox-E+ had more power to drive HD580, and Minibox gives them more bass. But I anyway liked Pico better...- uppis

Predator vs. Pico?
I said earlier in Pico-thread that to my ears, Pico's bass had evolved, but my comments were knocked out quickly.. But now I'm happy that at least someone agrees with me.- uppis

Looking to invest in a decent camera
What about used entry-level DSLR's? They almost fit your pricerange, even new Nikon D40 is 400$.. I promise you, its way better choice than buying a p&s. You can upgrade you lenses, and what I like the most in SLR's is the speed compared to p&s. When you push a button, everything happens...- uppis

Talking about ultrawides, what would be your recommendition for widest, cheapes and best quality one..? I'm thinking about Tokina 12-24mm, but I'm not quite sure yet. And I live in a place where is no photography stores near, so testing is quite hard..- uppis

Pico - USB DAC/Amplifier From HeadAmp
First, yes, I have read that Pico shouldn't evaluate during burn in, but my ears tell different. I'm hearing difference in bass after 100-200 hours of intensive listening. It sounds fuller and little tighter, and it feels like there is little more bass. I'm not sure is that even possible, but...- uppis
