Ipod headphone jack
I think you should be able to open up the iPod and replace the headphone jack. I'm too lazy to search right now but I think you can find the part online. If not, the line-out option via a dock & amp is a good option. A little expensive though if you don't already have the components.- myonlyswerving

Pa2v2 bassy?
I'm in the same boat as neogoat. I just got my PA2V2 recently and it sounds great to me. I have listened through some higher-end amps that some friends own and they definitely sound better, but for the price, the PA2V2 is definitely awesome. It sounds great through my computer, iPod, and Zune.- myonlyswerving

Help a n00b use itunes
I don't currently know of a way you can make multiple libraries in iTunes like that. The best option I can think of is to just make a few Smart Playlists, one for each category.- myonlyswerving

X-Fi and Audigy
i've got an audigy 2 zs with hd-595's and i think the 2/2.1 speaker mode sounds better than the headphone mode as well. the sound tends to have more depth.- myonlyswerving

Mostly Gaming HeadPhones - 50$
I've got the Sennheiser PC150's and I love them. They're a little bit more expensive (about $70) but well worth it. Definitely worth checking out.- myonlyswerving

HD-555 or HD-595??
For the most part, I'll be using them plugged into my computer. I've got an Audigy2 ZS soundcard. I'll use them for gaming, but mostly for music. (Mainly Indie, Post-Rock, and Classical). From time to time I'll also probably be plugging them into my iPod and my MacBook. I've been looking at...- myonlyswerving

HD-555 or HD-595??
I was browsing through the internet looking for help with my headphone questions and came across this forum which is exactly what I was looking for. Anyways, here's my question. I'm in the market for a pair of audiophile headphones & I've narrowed my search down between the HD-555 & the HD-595...- myonlyswerving
