Understanding the schem. is one thing and actually DIYing is totally another. It would be much better, you start w/ Cmoy, and get it sound as it should. If it's first time for you to try one of these, I believe you will find Cmoy is quite challenging. probably first one doesn't work at all...

Yeah~~~300B was one of best Amps I've ever tried on k1000... Even though it takes about 2 hours of warming up time to sound really great(major reason I turn to TR), It's one of my best pick yet. And I truly love to see someone try tuning 300b to down to the headamps, and settingup and prviding...

Nope!!!..... but every 300B I've seen so far, was power Amps that run the couple of speakers w/ high dB.....So If you thinking about hookingup the headphone on it. I think you have to recal. every current values and choose parts for it...from the scrap?......and due to the 300B working spec...

I don't know about HA-2~~~ But I tried HA-1 and it was just too whimpy to sound the k1000. Judging by meta42(powered by dual transformer setup) was decent w/ gain value of 10. I heard HA-2 got a buffer in the output, so I guess it 'll better than HA-1, if you tweak the gains in your amp... But...
