Isn't there a vacuum /cleaning kit for custom IEMS? I'm not sure if it will work, or if it is as convinient for the problem you described, but it is the tiniest vacuum I've seen so far. I personally just use some dry cloth every once in a while.

Zeos, too, had the same problem, and he had a silver clear (not pro). He even called them beats, same as you. There might be a new batch in the market with malfunctioning bass it seems; this thread is 350 pages long and I don't recall clear pro users having this problem before. My advice would...

Which is the best headphone you have (or have tried) in terms of price/quality ratio?

For me it's probably Fostex T60RP. A solid listen for $300. Although it's Fostex, so you would need a balanced cable (sold/ordered separately) and a decent desktop Amp. On one hand the hp doesn't require any further modding (for my preference anyway), but on the other, the value is there if you...

    Focal Clear headphones

Had this issue with my Clears, on the Sony TA-Z1HES Dac/Amp. Would start clipping on bass heavy tracks (2049 Ost for instance). But we are talking about ears deafening volume (85% volume, - 15db on low gain), so bear that in mind.

Thank you! And by caliber you mean width?

    Fostex T60RP

For some reason none of the dealers in my area are selling the extra cables to run it balanced. So I was trying to purchase a custom made cable, but had a hard time explaining what I need. I mean it is a 4 pole, 3.5mm jack, right? With whatever connection I need on the other end. That seems to...

Well, it's not within the price range that you have asked, but maybe it will help you to orientate. I use th-zh1e, and I have tested clear with "2049" OST - not a single pop or crackle.

    Sennheiser HD820

I'm not sure why he called you a shill necessarily; from my experience that's just how early adopters are, and that's how threads here start in general. I could be completely wrong, I only have been reading up on threads here for a couple of years, but the pattern is more or less the same, which...

    Hifiman Ananda

I could be wrong, but I think it's because they are extremely open. Well, I own an edition X, they seem to be similar to Ananda construction wise, they probably bleed noise like crazy as well. I feel like I need to pump up the volume because most of the music simply plays outwards if that makes...

    Focal Clear headphones

Does anyone has any recommendations or ideas on how to clean the headphones? The insides facing the ears don't have any fabric but at least it's all isolated and the pads are easily taken off to give it a brush. The grill pattern on the outside, however, is rather large and doesn't have any...
