So I am looking to get the XCs, I know that Audeze has not update the Reveal software with new tunings for the new pads / drivers. I thought I read here somewhere that you don't really need to EQ the new revision of XC at all? Can anyone confirm this?

Has anyone had any issues with the volume level changing when using reveal+ 1.5 and foobar when switching between sample rates? ie. song is playing at 24/96, then the next song is 24/44e etc? I usually end up closing foobar and opening it again to get the proper volume level.

I've never heard the 4z, but from what I understand the MX4 are a bit less mid forward than the 4z. The Magnis power them easily, I'll be keeping both but so far the Heresy is my favorite, even beating out my Ragnarok when paired with my Oppo 205. There's just something about it........

I just got the Heresy after having the 3+ since just after it was released. The Heresy is a bit more analytical to my ears, the 3+ being a bit warmer. Also, I've noticed the 3+ sounds better on high gain with my LCD MX4 whereas the Heresy is better on low gain.

I'm not sure what benefit it would have outside of the regular reveal app features since the i3 shoots the sound directly into your ear canal and doesn't bounce off of any of your ear parts.

Yeah, after using the steroid spray it has improved, got a cold right around Xmas so that set me back a bit. Going to keep using the spray until my next visit and then see where it's at. Hopefully this can resolve the issue without the balloon since that's not covered by insurance(SHOCKER!)

@igorpadrao - the white LED on the Magni 3+ is internal, it's not located next to the volume knob anymore. It's not really noticeable at all unless it's dark in your listening area.

I think the only nit I have to pick with these is the cable, just the regular Audeze braided cable. If I had paid full price for these I would think they would come with the upgraded Audeze cable. But for the black friday price.....

My USB C - USB C cable was DOA when I got my mobius, the C - A one worked fine until I got a new C - C, haven't touched it since. My advice is just replace with a diff cable, the stock ones are quite crap.
