Agree. It's strange. When I play MQA titles, Tidal still shows only HiFi. Will try again this evening.

I updated the Tidal app and when I play the stream, it still only says HiFi However, all MQA now plays using UAPP!

The software says “cannot resample in bit perfect mode”. But I don’t believe I have resampling turned on... Kinda frustrating.

Yes, they do. I ordered a balanced two pin cable from aliexpress with a 2.5 TRRS plug to try running in balanced most off my Oakton Xp-1A and it opened them up considerably. The overall sound is the same tonal balance just with more authority. I love them in this arrangement.

Is it possible to use the DP-X1A as a USB DAC for my MacBook Pro? I have the Tidal app but on the Android version, but it does not allow MQA playback. That option is only available on the Desktop app and I've yet to try listening to MQA. TIA
