Judging by this review it doesn't seem like an option. I was also impatiently waiting for my order and thinking about buying something else, since my old headphones are worn out. But the waiting was worth it imo. Btw I ordered the Brainwavz HM5 sheepskin pads. Will tell you if it is worth it.

Now I'm worried about the battery life and wondering about this, too. Used the headphones for the first time and the experience in video games is out of this world!
