Senn HD 555 foam mod noob question
Pretty please? All I need to know is if it's safe to leave the wire inside the left earphone dangling in there and possibly making contact with the driver. Is there risk of the wire melting, does the driver heat up during normal use...? I admit, this is a very nooby question...- radug1

Senn HD 555 foam mod noob question
I just did this mod today... Everything went well, except I'm concerned about one thing. In the video by Skikarl where he details how to do the mod, the wire that's inside the left earphone, that connects the main cable outside, to the driver, in his video was taped to the inner grill, I...- radug1

AKG K450 vs K24P
If you don't mind me asking, how did things turn out with the AKG K450s? I'm planning on buying a pair, but I've only heard mixed opinions, and not much on burn-in. And I'm curious as to whether they improve with burn-in. Thanks.- radug1

Questions about my new Sennheiser HD 555s

Questions about my new Sennheiser HD 555s
Thanks paaj I agree that there should have been signs that they were new, some kind of seal somewhere. So you're probably right that I got a returned product. All the evidence points in that direction. Thing is, I don't know how I could return them myself, they don't cite a return policy...- radug1

Questions about my new Sennheiser HD 555s
Hi, First of all, I'm new here, so I hope I'm posting this in the right subforum I ordered a pair of Senns online, and just got them today. After a few hours of listening, they're kind of a disappointment. Coming from mostly (cheaper) IEMs, they sound pretty tinny, and I'm not referring...- radug1
