20' headphone cables or 20' interconnects?

I'd go with short ic and long headphone cable. A long ic will afect the sound more than the long hc. Also the cable is only underfoot when you're listening.

    Headroom Little upgrade or not?

I upgraded my Little More Power to the premium module. It's a nice improvement, and I have no plan to change amps at this time. If you like the sonic character of your Little upgradeing makes sense. If you don't then it doesen't.

kimber powerkord 14 - anyone with any experience with it??

I have two pk14gold, which I compared to harmonic tech. pro ac 11, an mit and one from audio magic. The Kimber had the most balanced sound and quiet background. The biggest improvement with a good cord will be tighter bass and lower noise.

do bryston preamps have good headphone sections

I listened to the Bryston with my 600s, and thouth it did well. Much better than the Denon rec. I had at that time. It's probably as good as a lot of low to mid priced head amps i've heard.
