I plan on having my bose in-ear earphone modded with a better cable. (picture above) They can't or don't add mics to the cable. So my question is can I solder on a mic with volume controls on this cable? If yes, where can i get a inline mic that will fit? I know I need a trrs connector I'm just...

Is it normal not to hear from them for this long? Do they not communicate very much in general comparing their last kickstarter to indiegogo?
