Earbuds Round-Up
Yes, that is what I am thinking. I remember reading a post here a few months ago where the poster was commenting on the difference in signature between two "old" NICEHCK graphenes bought a few months apart. As I remember it, he described the difference as more subtle than what I am hearing...- janawe

Earbuds Round-Up
Could it be that there are different versions of the "old" Graphene out there? A few months ago I bought a graphene MX760-shelled earbud with similar specifications (resistance, sensitivity, response range) to the NICEHCK "old" graphene. However, it doesn't sound anything like the NICEHCK DIY...- janawe

Earbuds Round-Up
There are still a couple of the RunAbout Plus + Zen Lite bundles left, both on VE's homepage and on Aliexpress. The standard edition for $98 is sold out, so you have to choose either the one with charger and batteries or the one with power bank. The current batch of package deals was made...- janawe

Earbuds Round-Up
I have experienced electric shock when using the AuGlamour RX-1 with the Zishan Z1 as a DAC/AMP from the PC at work. I now only use plastic-shelled earbuds with the USB-powered Zishan Z1.- janawe

Colorfly C10 - Colorfly Is Back!
It was sealed, but it looked like it had been done by a cheap home sealing device (heat marks and sharp corners). There are signs of wear on the cardboard box so it appears to have been re-sealed. In addition to the scratches on the screen there are friction marks on the backside; there was...- janawe

Colorfly C10 - Colorfly Is Back!
I am disappointed that I received a used unit (it is not just the screen) when I thought I was getting a new player and most people seem to have received a new one. It might still be good value but I cannot help being disappointed nevertheless.- janawe

Colorfly C10 - Colorfly Is Back!
Thanks. I have been speculating about this since I noticed a pattern in in the scree surface when looking carefully. I also read about someone with a similar issue with the C4. I haven't yet made an effort to see if it is removable as I was hoping to return the player (thought this seems...- janawe

Colorfly C10 - Colorfly Is Back!
This is how my player looked like straight out of the box: screen covered in scratches + several other signs of wear. Joybuy's customer "support" has been a joke. [/IMG]- janawe

Problem with new earbuds: only plays mono
I'll post some photos to avoid any missunderstandings. I'm a newbie at this so my use of the terminology is probably a bit confused. When I measure sleeve against tip/ring the display shows the letters OL (Open Loop), the same as when the probes are not touching anything. Once or twice I got a...- janawe

Problem with new earbuds: only plays mono
Ok, so I got me a multimeter today and I've already made a few measurements on the Yinman 150. The multimeter registers no (or close to none) resistance either between tip and sleeve or between ring and sleeve. Between tip and ring I get a stable result around 310 Ω. After bending the cable...- janawe

Problem with new earbuds: only plays mono
Thanks for the replies so far! Unfortunately, I do not have access to a multimeter. I've been thinking about getting one for a while, so I might stop by the local hardware store on my way home from work tomorrow. I did shoot a short video sequence yesterday that I'm going to send to the seller...- janawe

Problem with new earbuds: only plays mono
I just received a defect Yinman 150 earbud from a seller on Aliexpress and I'm currently trying to figure out the source of the issue. The seller has asked me to provide a video documentation of the problem. However, it is not the kind of problem that is easily documented in a video, especially...- janawe
