yeah, the suction is there, the earpads are a strange design, probably acting as a built in bass booster. like a transmissionline - but I guess that's a technically inaccurate term from the loudspeaker world....- fukujama777

I confess: I bought them. What's wrong with me? Why would I do that? Are they linear? Hahaha Are the highs recessed? You bet! Is the upper bass bloated and instead no real presence of the low end? For sure. Are they overpriced? Yep! BUT: 1.They are nevertheless an incredible fun...- fukujama777

AKG K324P in-ear model...
Have both, the K324P only for a few days and it's quiet hard to say there's much difference. To me the AKG sound a little cleaner, more precise bass, but then again I think they sound pretty much the same. What you like better: the asymetrical cord of the CX300 or the normal Y of the AKG. AKG K530
The K530 are quite hard to find even in Austria (AKG is an Austrian company - at least partly). Same goes for the K324P which seem to be a CX300 variation.
