Get the Burson v5i opamp. It's easy to install and blows away the stock opamp. I was listening to mine today for the first time in awhile and was blown away.

Depends on the tubes and the sound signature you are looking for. It can get pricey. There are tube rolling threads here on head fi for most amps. It can be a bit of an addiction. :)

I can't speak for everyone or for all cables but I definitely hear an audible difference between the stock cable and the Periapt cable. And the difference isn't all that subtle. But I won't waste any time trying to convince anyone. I know what I hear and that's all that matters.
