How's it going with the Taiko Extreme pairing with the AB-1266 TC so far? Is it a match in heaven?:L3000:

Given the mini banana plug is so rare in the market, I'd suggest getting the SR HDSX grounding cable but it costs around $400 per one... For me, I have been using the SR grounding block and there are couple of components I need to ground as well so a full loom of SR grounding cables is too much...

My experience with i2s and aes/ebu is pretty much the same. I2s tends to have a sweeter high and comparatively silkier sound, so I'd describe it as energetic; Aes/ebu tends to have better low ends. although the high is not as sweet as i2s. All in all it gives a "darker" and sophisticated sound...

What I meant was to use a wired router (like the EdgeRouter) to connect the streamer instead of a wireless router (like ASUS, Netgear). Trust me the improvement is not subtle.

Haha! :beerchug: Tweaking network SQ is like opening the Pandora box...But by far I found getting a wired (not wireless) router is the most effective but also at a lower cost.

I've been using the No.75 on my LPS powering the router and modem. Actually I don't find it stiff at all, compared to other power cables. But at this price point, you can hardly find another one with Furutech plugs in the market!

I thought so too when I changed to native I2S. "How good can it be?" Well, it does sound way smoother to say the least! My 2.12x is around 1 year and a half old. Actually the "2.12" was introduced for multi-channel a several years ago (aka AV streamer) and of course it can handle two-channel...

No problem! Hope you'll be getting the Wavelight Server soon! It's really something to connect the DAC with native I2S and finally can say goodbye to USB. It's also this particular reason that made me pull the trigger on the Pink Faun streamer:)

A DDC is actually doing the same thing as USB input does. When you connect your DAC via USB, the signal will be internally converted to SPDIF. The DDC performs the same task but with a better clock and cleaner power supply and thus explains the benefit of having a DDC.

My Initial impression is very much so, a clear drop in floor noise, an increase in transparency. But what surprises me more is the bass. Oh my! With the Abyss, the bass is just addictive! The attack is just something I didn't realize I had in my system. Just simply wonderful!

Their after sales service is equally great, if not better, so rest assured you'll be taken care of if anything goes south with the cable. Jord is one of the nicest guys in the industry!

I'm using the HDMI EZ lock. By attaching the lock with a screw to the equipment's chassis, the stress originally on the cable can now spread to the chassis instead, eliminating the damage to the connectors. With the pricing of the Obsession cable, it's a steal especially coming with the...

As a user of both Pink Faun streamer and I2S cable, I have to say it takes time until the smooth creamy sound kicks in...So hang in there! On a side note, if you guys are plugging the I2S cable into a DAC with horizontal I2S input (though Wavestream is vertical), please be extremely careful as...

Most of the audio equipment (like DAC, headphone amplifier) is not so weighty that oftentimes a stiff cable will make it hard to sit well. It would be more painful if you've got an extra footer. It will make you scream (I did!) when the weight of the equipment does not rest all on the footers...

What I love about Pete's work is the flexibility of the cables. Be it thick or thin, they are just as flexible as they come. It definitely helps since I do not have much space for stiff cables to move around. By the way, do you guys have any other cable brands in mind that make highly flexible...

55 is totally normal. Sometimes, depending on the recordings, I have to go over 60 in order to let the music shine. But don't worry too much about numbers, I'd suggest you just keep turning it up until you feel it's the best to listen to. After all, it's your feeling that matters.
