What is overall the better amp for DDT 990 250 ohm, e10k or e17k? I can get the e10k for 110$ canadian vs the e17K on sale for 130$ canadian.

After trying the headphones out in my PC I def feel they need the amp/dac for the full experience. Volumes low and overall quality definitely feels like it could be pushed. Overall the e10k is good enough?

I've read that completely, and I see the 770 scored a 6/10 for competitive vs the 990 scoring 8/10. Are those ratings that big of a difference? Is there better competitive closed cans?

But overall are these closed cans good for what I'll be using them for? I'm currently using razer kraken 7.1 and the sound is terrible

So I take it if I move the computer to a quieter room, get the 990. Otherwise go with the closed cans? I wouldn't mind taking a look at other headphones if you think there's a better option. I've just eyed on these two because of the great reviews for what I'll be using them for.
