I want to know as well for that price. I have a pair already. They are only okay. Amazon recently dropped the price to 50 for these from 90 at least.

Darn!! I have the gold ones and would have bought the silvers at this price. Unfortunately it looks like the price went back up to $150

    Open backed can...budget $1200

Another vote for the Clears but I can also easily recommend the Elex too or the HEX V2. Lcd2c are very nice. I prefer all those to my Aeons though. The Ethers though are much better than the Aeons

Ask and Ye shall receive!!! Okay I had a cold that progressed into a massive sinus infection. I've really been out of it for a few weeks due that. I finally am mostly sickness free and decided to finally do a comparison. I also had been up to this point swapping pads on the ZX1 to try to find...

Backside of the baffle inside the cups. Just a little thin rectangular piece to cover a good portion of the tuning paper on each side. There should be more paper on the top and bottom that should be left alone. Once you try it, you'll think you did a magic trick :)

Want some sparkle to it? Add a stretched-out, half cotton ball to the inside back of each cup. Tape two small rectangular blocks of sorbethane to the tuning paper on the left and right side of the driver. Enjoy!

Have a bit of a cold going on right now. Not doing any critical comparisons at the moment while my sinuses are all clogged. I will update though when I can.

They look like regular HM5 but with a wood cup instead. I am not a fan of the sound from the closed version of the HM5 headphone.

The foam pads are slotted like everything else/. They fit around a plastic ring. Take them off like any other earpad you've had to replace if you replaced any.

I personally find the foam a bit too stiff and it causes hotspots on my ears when worn for awhile. That being said I am surprised by how well they sound still. One last thing. Not a fan of the cable at all. Short, thin, plasticy, janky, and how they go into a hole in the wood to be...

Well I just got back in from my vacation. I need a vacation from my vacation. That being said, I had a few new goodies waiting for me. One of which is the ZX1s that I ordered in 11/11. The MSUR N650 aren't here yet though. I did also have a replacement for a steel series 9h gaming headset, and...

I might do that on 11.11 even if the price is a buck cheaper than normalish. But to illustrate how BAD their 11.11 deals typically are, I recently bought these...

The 11.11 deals are meh usually. Most of the time the vendors raise prices before hand just to put them on "sale" at the previous prices they've always had them or close enough to that. I have yet to actually get anything from their 11.11 deals in years for that reason.

Well just got focal clears in and waiting on the hd800s as well as the dt1990. After that I will probably order the zx1 to do a cross compare and break down against the okcsc m2. Mainly because many think the drivers are the same.
