The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
I have to say that, for some reason, Beyers never sounded good in bass department to me.. I've tried them with and without EQ, but somehow they sounded off. Does anyone have the same experience?- skeletor_bass

I always like to "help" brands that are good and doing things right by paying large profit margins, but let's not joke...this stand is max 100e.- skeletor_bass

The problem with @AlwaysForward's approach is that it is overenthusiastic, hence the doubt increases. It is fine to be over the roof with your new purchase, but you gotta be realistic. And it is always better to be warned by someone (@dougms3), even if he is exaggerating, cause many hypes are...- skeletor_bass

You want more bass than stock Campfire Cascades, yet you do not want to EQ? This does not make sense. If you want the brutal amount of bass (which is what you want, based on your replies), you need EQ + power. I am not saying you go crazy with EQ, but bumps in bass region are must or just lower...- skeletor_bass

Yeah, they look like Numark Red Waves / Reloop RHP-10s / Zomo HD-1200s - they hit hard and are clean, but something was missing for me. But for money (i paid around 60e), they are a no brainer.- skeletor_bass

Guys, i've recently demoed Fostex T20RPMK3 & T50RPMK3 and was pleasantly suprised. Can someone give me idea, how better are TH610, in terms of bass (EQ friendly ofc.)? Thanks- skeletor_bass

No offense and i didn't even test these headphones, but based on specs / looks / target audience, these cannot even come close to fostex th900, nor anything in top10. And yes, i am talking about VZR Model One.- skeletor_bass

A company that has no full specs on any headphone is a big "no" for me. That includes driver size, materials used, sensitivity, max input power etc... Beyerdynamic is absolutely the same. Sadly, people buy any crap nowadays and just look for pure personal interest, rather than rewarding...- skeletor_bass

Denon AH-D1200 portable over-ear impressions, appreciation, and discussion thread.
Aight, i can't guarantee it is plastic, but that is my impression, after testing them in shop. Aside from being heavily disappointed with the build quality, when i tested sound i was shocked how bad it is. The sound is subjective, so my perception might be heavily biased (it is), but bass is...- skeletor_bass

While i don't agree even with your sound impressions, i won't comment on that, i'll just say anyone looking for bass and resolution should look elsewhere. On the other hand, build quality is awful - on the pictures, you get a feeling that it is well built with a decent sense of luxury, however...- skeletor_bass

Tbh, that's too much for me, especially since loudness emphasizes highs as well, but a notch or two on bass tone control is all i need :)- skeletor_bass
